'04 SCREW Engine Light

I have 23k miles on my '04 SCREW. For the past 15k miles, the engine light will come on occasionally. Everytime I check for faults with the Superchips micro tuner, I get fault code P0171 which is "Sys too lean (bank 1)." In the past I would erase the code and it wouldn't come back for some time. Now I erase it and it comes right back. I do have the AEM cold air intake and 3" Magniflow exhaust (if this makes a difference). Any help would be appreciated.

Have the same problem, but in my case it is because the F150 has a Propane (LPG) conversion and where the guys inserted the injectors into the cast manifold the fault code is saying that the mainifold is drawing in air. We have checked but can't find a leek, this could be a small split a pipe. The other reason it comes on is that the lambda sensor recognises that LPG is running far weeker that petrol (gas). I can clear off the engine symbol and sometimes it comes straight back on and other rimes it takes 2000 miles. The truck still runs well and I have to say I don't think it is going to cause you a problem. Just make sure you clear it off before you sell it .
