more glow plug questions

i have the truck in the garage, intake all blown off, pb blaster on all the plugs, and the "BOOT" end of the wires are all crumbled off, and the wire ends are stuck on the plug tips. what should i do? just yank them off? is there a replacement tip for the wires, or should i just not worry about it and tape the ends??

I would try needle nose pliers and work them off gently.
Heat shrink tubing works wonders to insulate the contacts when reinstalling them.

yea thanks Dave, i went back out after posting that, and started playing. the needle nose pliers is what i used. 3 of the 4 ends on the driver side fell apart as they came off, so they now have .173 female end crimp connectors on them.
i have the 4 driver side done, i am taking a break before tackling the passenger side. seeing the condition of the connectors, i am starting to wonder if the plugs were really bad or if it was just bad connections, but the other 4 are getting changed anyway.
and the turbo intake and charge plenum are in the way, they had to be removed. not to mention the 5000 little sharpies hidden in there just waiting for some skin to bite.
