some advice would be great :)

Hi there

I live in the caribbean and choice of cars where I am are slim to say the least. There is a 2003 Ford Escape for sale with 100k mileage, and I would like to know if anyone thinks this is a good bet or a non-starter. The car is great in every other way except the very high mileage - as I have no previous experiences with Fords or the Escape I would be interested to hear how the escape fairs with mileage.
