C6 transmission
How hard will it be to swith to a C6 tranny. I have a 74 hi boy with a divorced transfer case. will the automatic use the same crossmembers for mounts? and will I be able to use the same drive shafts? the tranny is $250 is it worth the trouble.

Assuming you currently have a 4spd, you may be able to ust the existing X member, but you may have to move it and get a different rubber mount. The drive shaft most likely wont work, but you can have one custom made if you cant find an OE shaft for your application. Is it worth it?, thats up to you.
