Unhappy 88 F-250 fuel problems

hello all, and how goes the battle.

As i have stated in a post i have written some time ago I picked up and old 88 f-250. well i have finnaly got the beast home. i have finnaly got a chance to look at it and there are a few more problems other than ignition problems, sucha as the t-case ( its a BW T-1356) has a gear in it, that the first 1/8th of an inch has been spun off the gear due on of the shifting forks is missing the little tabs that i think should be holding the coller of the gear so it's not holding the gear in the right place. as long as i can get the parts that's no big deal. the other problem i have is there is no fuel pressure at all in the fuel rail. i have tried switching tanks and i was told that there is a relay that is dead, so i used the one from my 88 crown vic but that had noe effect. short of force feeding it gas i just cannot get the truck to run on it's own. i have good spark because i thought i flooded the truck (i accedently got about 2/4 cups of fuel in the inlet yet it still fired. so i was wondering if anyone had any insight or comments on any or all of my problems with my truck, please don't be a stranger

Ground pin #6 or Jumper pin #6 to pin #2 of your test connector and see if the Fuel Pumps Run. Here is a Diagram of the test connector.



If they do not then try resetting the Inertia switch and try again. Here is a diagram of your Fuel system.



If they still do not run then have someone see if the EEC Power Relay and the Fuel Pump Relay click when you turn the Key to Run.

Report your findings back to us and we will try to help you some more.

as it turns out there is about three wires that connect to the ground post. as soon as i had grounded that wire i heard everything click on. my hand sliped off the keay as i was starting it so the starter only made contact for a milisecond but it was enough for it to start now (except the facs the muffler has blown it's seam) she purrs like a kitten.

now if ford would quit screwing me around i could get my t-case fixed and i'd be on my way. all i really need are the little plastec tabs that gon on the fork and hold ( i think it is the gear the changes from hi range to low range). the problem is the "tag" that goes on the t-case is gone. i know it is a borg warner t-1356 but that is all i know but they tell me that there is 20 diffrent t-1356 made at the time and they all used diffrent parts. or so they say. i don't know it's getting annoying. just had to voice my frustration.
