Vibration Problem (Still!!!!)
Guys, I am still working on a vibration problem in my 79 F100, with 3 spd manual and two piece drive shaft. Can someone tell me if all three universals in the drive shaft are the same part number???? Thanks!!!!!!

Yes. They are all the same. make sure you get Spicer brand joints. Don't bother with the other junk. Oh yeah. Make sure that they are indexd properly when you put the rear shaft in. (Check with any manuel if you have any doubts on the proper placement). Last, but most important, Make sure that the U-joint is seated properly in the rear end yoke! It is real common for one of the cups to sit UP on the yoke guides (instead of DOWN in between them). this causes severe vibration.
