Rear bumper brackets

Does any one have or know where to get the rear bumper brackets for a 73 to a 79 model truck with a step side bed? I've searched every where and come up empty handed. I'd be realy happy to just have pictures of them. Atr this point, I'm not even real sure what I'm looking for.

i am going to the junkyard on sat. there is always 3 or 4 stepsides. i will check it out

what do you plan to use them for? did you swap beds?

I'm going to use them on my 73. My bed had several issues. I bought a flare side bed from an 84 model truck for it. The bed looks pretty cool on the truck, but I need to do something about a rear bumper.

I have always just made my own. Every set of brackets I found in the JY was either bent or too rusted out for my liking. There not very strong either.

Dave, I would love to make my own but I don't even have a clue as to what they look like. Do you have pictures or can you get measurements or any thing?
