I am a Cardinals fan. I saw the game and saw what you ment. The game seemed more like a certian president running for office. I highly doubt that it will change even though the petition makes it to the powers that be.
I was going for the Seahawks, don't get me wrong. The cut block call was awful, I agree. But I agree with the refs saying that Roethlisberger's run was a touchdown, or at least couldn't be overturned. Only by a hair's breadth, but it was. The ball only has to cross the field-side plane of the border (in this case, the white line). The play was originally called a touchdown, and upon review, there was not sufficient evidence to overturn the ruling. In retrospect, the play could have been called either way, but it was originally called a touchdown, and the available camera angles couldn't provide enough information to overturn it. This is because the forward-most edge of the football was obscured by the players arm. The curve of the football appears that it would be across the forward white plane. But then again, thats why we have controversy. You couldn't see it perfectly.
I was pretty sure it wasn't a touchdown, and Big Ben confirmed that later on national TV that he didn't score. there were some other calls that were bad also. But no bad calls on the Steelers. hmmmm? Bill levey should be the MVP of superbowl XL.
just my opinion. It just feels tainted.

Reason: spelling
Ben didn't see it, and he only said, "I told Cowher that I didn't think I got in."
I replayed that TD a half dozen times, and I agree with notstirred12 that it could have gone either way and not been overturned. The cut block call was bad, I'll agree. But Holmgren coached horribly--lousy clock management. Let it go...what's to be gained, particularly for the fans?
YES! terrible terrible clock management. What happened at the end of the last half? Goodness. Overall, it was a poor excuse for a Superbowl, though. Boring even. I would have rather watched a replay of the Rose Bowl (in-VINCE-ible)!

I work with a bunch of Hawk fans and they ask if I would sign the petition and post on line if I thought the hawks were robbed. So I did. What's to be gained?
I hope some better officiating. I'm still upset about the AFC playoff game a few years ago. That was a fumble. Rams/Radiers would have been the best Superbowl ever. Instead we lost to the Pats!
Rams in 2006 baby!!

Is it just me, or does the losing side to everything always say something was unfair? I mean come on people, get over it. The Seahawks lost, move on and remember, there's always next season. BTW, I'm a Packers fan. (4-12, but they beat the Seahawks. )
All i know is that everyone is undefeated right now. The ravens were 6-10, but certainly were/are a better team than that, they just didn't get the job done. AFC North is going to be quite a division next year. Steelers/bengals/ravens

Nope, I am Un-biased in my opinion of the teams playing.
My opinion is derived from the FACTS show to me on the field.
The officials had an effect on the game in different ways.
Yes the players could have tried to overcome adversity against the other team.
The problem was when the officials got involved in a BOGUS fashion and their decisions seemed one -sided.
Regardless of who is coaching.
ME ..I expect MORE professionalism from the officials in the biggest game of the year.
