No regular cabs?

A 4.0L regular cab Ranger would be more like a HOSS! I would love to have a 4.0L/5spd Edge. That'd be a slick truck. *wipes the drool from my mouth* I know a guy who had the a 4x4 X-cab 4.0/5spd combo and he said it would leave all the Z71s that wanted a piece. (not saying a whole bunch for those V8s)

i've heard those v8's are torque monsters though. i don't think ford did really well with the lightning as far as sales but maybe a ranger with a blown 4.0 would. how 'bout that? heres a napkin nate! lol.

What ab the "thunderbolt" or "lightningbolt" or whatever the heck it was? Were those just high output V6s, blown V6s, or V8s? I've seen like 4 in my entire life. They're kinda tacky if you ask me, but maybe that's what we're all looking for...

The ranger IS currently available in 4.0 4x4 regular cab with a five speed manual or automatic.....but not 4.0 4x2 regular cab....so if you want one, buy it. I only know this because I "built one" on the ford web site.
