The plot thickens

No power at the eec or pcm whatever it is called. No power at the tranny, that is why it won't start in 1st.
Tried to scan for codes, but scan tool would not read truck's pcm.

Any ideas?

7.3 diesel, E4OD tranny, no tach worky worky, speedo works fine, od off light stuck on, have reverse, start in 3rd and can manually downshift into second...

Please help....relays? fuses???

oh yeah does anyone know how many prongs that the eec relay has?.. my relays are kinda laying around loosely and I can't tell which is which.

Have you checked the fuses in the fuse panel?

fuse panel is good... no blown fuses.. but I think I am barking up the right tree at this point.. I am beyond the easy fix, but I found soem fusible links toasted and now I have power at the eec.... more later...
