Dash assembly conversion

I was wondering if a 1990 dash assembly would fit in a 1984 cab. I know I will have to change a whole bunch of things but i want to know if the thing would physically be accepted in the cab frame.

Thanks

My understanding is that 80-96 F150 and 80-97 F250/F350 cabs/doors are basically the same. There are some changes as far as wiring bulkhead connector type/size.

Yes, you may wind up cutting new different shaped holes in the firewall if you are changing wiring but otherwise it should be OK? '92 and later used a big round connector, earlier used a big rectangular one.
