Last week it was for an axle shaft, unitized bearing/hub and locking hub on the passenger side, this week it's in for rotors and brake pads for the front and ball joints for the drivers side. Not too bad on the rotors, got 165k out of them but this is the 3rd set of Moog ball joints on it.
I am using Wagner Thermoquiet rotors with Abex pads. I wanted to go with Performance Friction rotors but they don't offer them for the X.
The updated ones that just went on are. I just got it back and oh man! I highly recommend the Thermo Quiet rotors and Abex SD756 pads. I thought the Performance Friction pads stopped that tank, these put the PF's to shame!

Just out of curiosity.... what did you pay to have shop replace the bearing/hub assembly? I just had my passenger side done, but it had gotten so sloppy and wobbled around so much that it took out my rotor
They replaced the axle shaft, bearing/hub, studs and locking hub for $1200 including parts. I didn't pay for it, it's a company truck so my work payed for it. The bearing seized up on it and wore a wide groove in the axle shaft. The locking hub was toasted too but from corrosion.

PFC has the rotor and pads for the EX. I have had the 00, 02 and now the 04 which I have run the PFC's on all 3. Let me know if you need any info.
It's too late now but I looked on their website and didn't see any listings. I even called my rep for PF and he said they had nothing. I ran Wagner Thermoquiets all around. This Saturday I do the rears, the boss is getting upset on the dollar about the shop is paying on repairs to this thing so I am going to do them myself if I can get a response to my rear brake question below.
I need upper and lower ball joints on my Ex. The owner of the shop I use is having problems finding someone that carries the Moog ball joints for my 2003 V10 4x4.
Where did you get yours? If you have a part number that is even better. Should I get the greasable ones?

Thanks!
The company I work for is direct with Federal Mogul/Moog. I simply ordered them up. I can order them for you if you wish. Let me know and I will get you a price.
