Im interested in changing my headlights on my 2003 Expedition Eddie Baeur. Its the lighter green adn tan trim wondering if anyone had them on thier truck and could post pics of them. thanks
try searching the headlights here. pictures can be seen too.
Thanks, Greenscobie86...those headlights look awesome! My '97 Exp EB headlights have clouded up terribly. These are a super fix and great looking. I'm ordering mine today!
Put the same headlights on my 97 Expedition and they look great!
Install was pretty straightforward as Greenscobie86 says. I followed his tip and measured the adjustment screws off the old headlight and matched the lengths on the new ones...worked perfectly! What a difference for just $100 off of eBay.
Dang, that looks mean! Did you do the actual HID lights? What was the total cost of that? I would switch to real HID's, I don't want just the HID "look", I want the HID output as well.
I did the HID lighting system, not just the look. The headlight assemblys cost me $385 for the pair and the HID was $269 for the low and $269 for the high beams.
That sounds about right. I have thought about robbing the HID ballasts out of a wrecked car and McGyvering them into my truck with something like the assemblies you have, but that sounds easier than it is. I know where a wrecked SVT Focus is with the HIDs, but I haven't inquired about the lights yet. And it is only a theory that it'd even work.
If I don't do the HID's I may just get a bull bar and some HO off-road lights, which would end up being cheaper anyways, and provide some much needed front end protection.

Yes you would have much more lighting, but the HID just look so cool.
Oh, I agree, they look awesome, especially with the BMWesque halos, but I just don't know if i'm ready to drop $1000 for headlights.
I agree $1000 is a lot of money. I was lucky to sell the HID lighting system that I had on my 2003 Expy to help with some of the cost. If not I would still be waiting to get enough money put aside to get the new ones. I rather save and get the ones I really want vs just settleing now for something else and then spending more down the road.

I have a similar question. I have a 1997 F-250 that I would like smoked or black headlights on "aftermarket." The biggest problem is when I search .. my truck dosnt exist on many sites. My truck is the 92-96 style of truck .. ford made a few in 97.
Does anyone know of any sites that may have this type of headlights? Thank You
