Manual Trans Options ???
What year Ford (or other make) manual transmissions will be a direct bolt-up to a 54 239 OHV ? I guess I'm asking which year would be the best option to look for?
I have a 64 3 spd. that my trans shop guy hasnt been able to find all of the internal shafts for a complete rebuild....gonna use it as is until it gives out since I've already altered the drive shaft length. So, I'm starting the search for another replacment. I have the original 54 3spd...but would have to go thru it also (same parts issues) and get another (longer) driveshaft...
