Motor Swap

I just got my 51 f1 and of course the guy I got if from is a hardcore hotrodder and kept the original flathead...anyway what I want to know is if there is any thing i should know before putting my motor in, (either a 351 or 302) let me know if you know of any problems with this please. Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be a big deal, but what front suspension are you planning on using?

A rear sump oil pan (like from an F150) will help avoid some problems...

im not sure which suspension probably keeping it as stock as possible

If you keep the front stock-ish and run a small block you shouldn't have any trouble. It's the big blocks that tend to crush the stock springs down too far.
