I have a 390, and looking for a GOOD set of headers.I have a msd ign,k&n filter,other toys,,,I thought about (shorty headers) as the one's I have on now,don't leave enough room for a good pipe hook-up due to my trans/t-case.I thought about fender-well headers.

This has been discussed many a times, why not try a search, you might find your answer. I have Dynomax Headers on my truck (with a 390) I think they were the best deal ($99 and a $25 rebate) but probably wont last very long compared to the high tech coated versions.

If you want the best that will fit for your application get a set of Stans. I don't have link handy but a search will pop up a recent thread in this forum that has all the info you need.

I agree! Stans are by far and away the best. Plus, they are a tri-y design, which will help power and gas mileage. They don't leak, and don't have interference problems. They'll run you about $400, but are well worth it.
