porting question/240 heads
My freind junked a 74 f100 that has a perfectly good 240 in it with low miles.
I am considering going and grabbing the heads of of it and putting it on my 1975 300.
I am wondering how much of a hp/compression increase this generally creates. I also hear alot about porting heads. I've never done it i was wondering- Has anyone posted pictures how to do this yourself, or is this something complicated and I should have done by some one else. and again how much of a difference would porting make?

Should put you into the low to mid 9:1 compression ratio.
