I am new to this site. I have a 2005 F-150 FX4. I was wondering if there is any company that sells a "Roots-Type" blower for the 5.4 liter 3-Valve engine? I am interested in adding some power to my truck. I had a Cobra with an Eaton "Roots-Type" unit on it and loved it.

Lysholms have similar power characteristics (positive displacement, so boost right off idle) and are more efficient, so you get more power, though they do cost a little more. May want to look at a Whipple as well, these are Lysholm...Kenne Bell is, too, but I'm not sure if they make one for your truck yet.

Many Corbra and Lightning guys upgrade their stock twin-screws to Lysholms, and the Ford GT comes with a Lysholm.
