Still here and looking

Heys guys, im still looking for a ford truck and keeping my options opened although i may have found the one. Its not a 1948 or anything like the last one I was looking at but this ones pretty nice. Its a 1989 or around there f-150 4x4. Has an inline 6 with only 90,000 miles and its manual, although i dont know if 4 or 5 speed. Its orange in color and very clean looking. Only plan are maybe to lift it a bit and throw some bigger tires on it and maybe a few goodies for the motor. Besides that just wanted yalls opinion on a truck like this, there asking 2995 for it by the way.

90k isn't bad at all for this motor---well, really---it's nothing on it (assuming the milage is accurate---those models didn't have a 100k spot, so it might have 190k on it). The 300 is a solid motor---at least from my experience. If it is a standard, I would be surprised if it's a 4-speed---all of the 300's I've ever driven/seen with a standard have been 5-speeds, especially within that time frame.

Should be a 5 speed, but there were some 4 gears built. My 300 has 291k miles on it and still puts more power to the wheels than it was rated for.
