factory trailer brake controller
I was wondering if anyone has installed a factory trailer brake unit on a 05 250 that did not come with that option originally and what the factory purchase price is of the brake control. the wire harnesses are connected to the back of the plastic bin where the unit would be if my truck came with that option. so I was thinking it shouldn't be any problem.

I installed the BC in my 06, the instructions are very easy to understand.
Just pull out the plastic cubby, plug in the BC and swap out the master cylinder.
I am just waiting to take it to the dealer to have them enable the brake controller through the OBD-II port for the personality module.
Brake controller kit $400
Instillation time including bleeding brakes, about an hour.
