Are your current tires worn completely? Do you still have tread on them? You could run two sets of tires, I know its expensive but it does have its merits. You could get some decent bias ply swampers or LTB's or TSL's for the muck.
Have you looked at the Mud King XT's? They're a knockoff of a BFG MT or PC MT, something like that. So..cheaper with the same performance. Radial like the others.

the bfg's are a great tire.. i've ran them for years on my play truck during the summer and hunting season, and then switched to a bogger when it was time to get serious about things... the best part about the bfg is that it will LAST long enough to warrant buying another set of tires that are strictly for play, thereby making them both last longer- with the capabilities and street manners your looking for.... and like monsterbaby said, if you can't make it through without a radical mud tire, you're probably not in the right rig to be trying it..... JMO
