so my only possible solution to having normal power at these elevations would be NOS which would increase the amount of O2? Or would it not matter because i wouldnt have enough air pressure for correct compression? Is it lack of air thats causing the power loss, or lack of oxygen?

I believe i stated in one of my earlier posts :
i went up from 7000 to 9300 ft let the truck idle there for about 15 min then shut it down for another 15 then continued up the hill
This had made no difference at all

Forced induction (turbo or supercharger) should help you regain power at altitude. I don't know what it would take to add this to your truck.

Unless you absolutely must have that power at altitude, though, I can't see why you'd bother.
