Where IS the casting #'s
I bought a 83 150 XLT and I have no idea what the motor is. If it were the original motor I could at least narrow down the list, but since all the info I have is that it came out of a car (unknown) or year (unknown). This is what I do know. It has a 2bbl holly carb. It has a double stacked aircleaner (not stock, just 2 open round air filters with no plumbing for PVC valve. The choke on the carb is electric. I can tell it was a chore to get this motor in the truck because there is a lot of extra wiring left. The tranny is a auto 3 speed. I will try and post pic as soon as I get a day with some good sunlight.
