11 miles per gallon

Have 87 econoline 351HO,besides the tornado how can i inccrease gas mileage?Ever saw on some big toyota trucks a big intake pipe,guy said improves mileage?Dont know myself.

tornado= waste of money.

a good tune up is your best bet.

leave the voodoo for new orleans.

I just love those Tonado infomercials... like how they hold the rpm's a few hundred shy of peak HP and say see, 215 hp; pop in the tornado and run it to peak a few hundred rpm higher and then say WOW, 237hp, thats a 10% gain in 30 seconds...

ive put 2 tornados in 2 different and inproved gas mileage 2 to 4 mpg

I put a mild lift cam in a 302,when i drove it like granny the gas mileage got better and increased HP 25,like the the tornado or turbonator

25HP? Of course you have the dyno charts to back that up?

I have a 90' 460 that used to get about 8 mpg. I cut off the cat, dualed it 2.5" with glass packs and got a K&N Intake Kit. It has increased my gas mileage 5-6. Pretty amazing.

If you're worried about gas mileage why did you buy a truck? Go support the japs and buy a honda.

Its not a truck its a van and second its probably for work. So he might not have a choice.

Thanks for the info on mpg.Do i replace with 2.5 exhaustfrom muffler back,or from catylitic converter?When you say electric fan,cooling fan ran directly to battery ?Do ineed a sensor?How is it setup?

You know, I keep seeing a blurb at the top of the page that says we're a community, etc. and I "haven't posted in more than 2 weeks."
