anyone using a high flo cat?
hi all, i just changed my exhaust system again on my 5.4, and now i currently have no cat, and a flowmaster 40 series 3" inlet, dual 2.5" outlet. then the outlets have a 4" x 18" echo tip exiting in front of the rear pass wheel. well, this is real throaty, but way too loud. im thinking of getting a high flo cat, rather than putting the stocker back on... what is your advice? i just want to tone it down a little bit....any recommended brands? thanks !!!

the only cat thats is worth it is the catco brand. they use stainless steel and ceramic inserts. check www.summitracing.com

thanks for the relies guys.... im not worried about power, i just want to mellow the sound a little. i know that the stock cats steal a ton of sound, so i dont want to put that one back on, and was wondering just how much sound even the high flo cats will steal.
