I am getting some 33" BFGs installed tommorow. I actually had the EZLift in my posession last week but I returned it because of perosnal issues I had with the whole delivery process. Anyways, I heard two different stories about intallign 33" tires on stock height. I know the back tires wont rub, but will the fronts be ok? I have mudflaps on there and I am not sure if it will rub...
Ok well if you have a 4x2 it will rub real bad. a 4x4 on the other hand you will be fine I am running 305/55/20 33.4 inch and they clear easy pic's in my sig
Yes you should be ok, unless you do some real off camber type of wheelin. Put the truck on a step angle and you could (but probably not) bend a fender. Just have someone watch the fender well while you put it on some articulations. Do it slow and easy and you will know if you have any issues. Should be fine we have a customer who did the same thing and he said close but not too close.
He wanted to wait and do a 4" system this spring. Good Luck be careful
