HELP! PS Box/Tilt Steering Question
Help! Can anyone tell me if the splines on the input shaft of a PS box in a 78 F100 2 wheel drive are the same as the spline count on a 79 F150 4x4 PS box? In case anyone is wondering I'm using the 79 box in my 70 Bronco for a power steering conversion and I might be able to buy a 78 tilt steering column. I just wanted to know if I can use the u-joint at the bottom of the shaft on the 79 box. If it is neccessary I can lengthen the shaft, so that is not a problem. Thanks for any info!
