driver door rattle

driver door rattle
Is there any way to make my driver door stop rattling 
. I had an accident in my ranger about 9 months ago 
. The only damage to my truck was both driver side rims and tires were totaled. Ever since then i've noticed a wind noise coming in and my door started to rattle. I've checked every hinge on the door none seem loose 
. i have an 01 ranger 4x4 king cab with the extra doors. Any help getting my door back to snug fit is appreaciated Thanks

My '03 does the same thing. With mine though does it for about a month or so then quits for about a month. I just learned to turn the radio up a little more during the rattle time 
. It used to drive me crazy but I finally learned to live with it.

It sounds like your rattle may be coincidence rather than a result from your accident. Check your striker for a missing or worn plastic bushing that fits around your striker bolt (common wear and tear issue). A new striker bushing or even an entire striker bolt assembly can be bought from the "HELP" items at Autozone or Advance Auto store. It's inexpensive too.
