Question Tire size??

How big a tire can I put on my 1984 F250 4X4 / 6.9? I have stock tires on it right now, would like to go as big as I can.

Also, what kind of offset and backspace should I be lookng for (or not) for my truck on new 16" rims?
TIA
Todd

Question Tire size?

I would think that a 94 is totaly different than an 84 but in any case how tall is a 315?

I am running 285/75-16 mud tires on mine on stock wheels.
33.2" tall for Bridgestone Dueller RMT.
Had no rubbing issues with the body but the front tires were very close to the springs when turned all the way left or right.

315s are 35 inches tall I have mine on 8" wide wheels. 94 and 84 share a lot of body parts the major diff is the grille headlights and hood the rest of the truck is pretty much the same.

HI! I have run 315s on a1983 429 gasser ,and i run them on a1992 idi the only mod was to space your front bumper ,i set mine off about 3 inches you can get away with a little less and it dose not look bad ,4.10 gears work nice for daily driving not much for towing.i dropped back to 285s got better proformance.
