It is a quality product...they also have injectors and a trailer brake controler. They have a Nitro Flash programer that is very popular for the Duramax. If you have any questions please feel free to call.
Right now im running a mbrp 4" turbo back exhaust on my excursion and its falling apart im getting horrible turbo drone and exhaust leaks everywhere. I dont blame the quality of the exhaust i think its my fault for off roading to much, anyway I need a new one but I dont know what to go with. Might think about duals but dont know if anyone makes duals for the excursion, and i dont know if it would even fit because i double shocked the rear and the shocks get in the way i dont know what to do anybody have any advice? thanks
The MBRP dual system is not advertised for an Excursion. They have an Excursion specific system, but it is not duals. So your going to need to do some creative engineering.....and I always recomend a welder when feeling creative. If you were in the PA area I would tell you to stop by the shop and I would take care of it for you...for the price of a six-pack of beer! Good luck dude!
Problems with what? We put a 4" Bullydog under our 05 F-350 we run here and it was a direct fit, no problems, no torch, no welder........it just fit. The down pipe was a real challange to get in, but I have a tool called a "Pat"...its a 6' 3" 260 lb man that can lift a car if he chooses.....and...well....I used my Pat tool to get that damn downpipe thru. Its tight. Other than the tight fit getting the downpipe in, its a non issue completely. Bullydog does a nice job on the exhaust, and its not priced like its gold lined.
Nope. It will lower your EGT's and HELP the engine live healthier and happier for a longer time. What will hurt your engine is stock exhaust and intake on a truck being pushed hard at its limits. There are numerous bone stock 6.0 PSD trucks set up as ambulance or tow truck applications that have taken out engines from the hard loading and heat. Your new exhaust is a good thing from every point of view.....except maybe the guy in the car with the tailpipe pointing at his window as he is vibrating with your exhaust hammering his window....lol....
Is there any potential for damage using a 5" exhaust on a truck running betweem 400 and 450 HP? I have a 5" exhaust as a recommendation from the shop I had some mods done...but afterwards, I saw/read that a 5" exhaust should be run on trucks running greater than 450HP. Am I still getting enough back pressure? ANy other concerns? I am thinking about going down to a 4" exhaust...yes it is from turbo back...Thanks.
Oh, by the way. It's a '04, F350, fully loaded, long bed, full sized cab, Harley version...sweet truck.
