It depends on what the manufacturer of the tire lists as approved rim widths. I know Mickey Thompson's will run on a 16x9.5 rim with no problem. But again, check with the manufacturer of the tire.
Ok, They came back to me just now and said a 10" rim is recommended...
My next question -- A couple people here said they were running 37" tires with nothing more then the 2-2.5" leveling kit(what I have) with no problems..
Right now I'm running 33's without ANY chances of hitting - Will 37's tuck under there? The truck NEVER goes off road.
That I'm not sure of. My instincts want to say no, 37's would rub, but I also didn't think 35's would fit on a stock '05+, but people are saying they do.
I am running 36"x14.5" Dirt Grips with a 6" lift. My tires occassionally hit the bumper when turning onto a bump in the road. I would think 37s on a 2" lift will not work.
JB- I just looked in your gallery and saw you have an '01. There's no way 37's are going to fit an '01 with just a leveling kit. I like that hood though. Looks mean.

I gotta agree here. I have a 2000 and with a six inch lift I still get tire rub occasionaly. It is just friendy contact when hitting a curb or something. 37" tires need a minimum of a six inch lift.
Thanks! Do you have any problems getting a sticker in MA??
