biggest tires
What is the biggest tire size i can put on my 79 150 with a 4 1/2'' lift, and 4'' offset rims?

I know of somebody with a 79 and a 4" that has 38" tires. Not sure it he has a body lift or not.

with no fender trimming, not much more than a 37-38, if you are willing to trim the bottoms of the fenders then you can fit more tire

i have a 79 with 4" and 3" body sitting on 39.5

460mudtruck, welcome to the site. What kind of tires you running, boggers, irocs?
THEBOGGIEMAN, you could easily fit 35-36s with room for flex, but maxing out axles and room with 37-38s.

Id say 38s...But hey fender trimming looks cool....I use an old set of Ford Fender flares for a Stencil to get the design right...Nothing worse then a square hack Job....

I have 40s on my 78 F150 with minor fender trimming in the front and none in the rear and no lift at all, looks pretty stout!
