Brakes

Well I figured out whats wrong with my brakes, booster is good, vaccuum is good, I just dont have any shoes left. I figured it out the hard way today, thank god I didn't hit anyone. I guess I should have checked the most obvious thing first. I will replace the shoes tonight, seeing as the truck is my daily driver right now.

Umm, when the wear indicators start making that slight little
steel dragging steel sound, you're supposed to change 'em. But,
like most people, I usually wait till they grind the crap out of
the drums and rotors before I change 'em. Honestly! I'm lazy.

The pads were worn, but not awful. I was running on about 1/2 a wheel cylinder up front. 3 of the 4 pistons were either frozen up or so corroded that they didn't really travel very far at all.
