Help! I bought a pair of "alumastep ultrasteps" so it would be easier to get into my 4" lifted F350. The box came today and look really nice but with-out instructions. Anyone got an extra set laying around or can help me? I sure want to do this right since if I get on it and it don't hold me...I'd be pissed, embarassed and most likely hurt
I don't know if that is the same step I just had mounted on my 1992 F150 4x4 5.8L Supercab, (also lifted, but I'm not sure how much).
Be very careful about where the mounting screws go. Both of the top mounting screws on mine went into the wire bundle that comes from the rear, and that included a wire that sends data to the speedometer, and a whole bunch more. I was lucky that it was only shorted wires, and a burned out fuse.
