rear main seal 351w

got a 82 bronco just prior to my last deployment it's rough to say the best . trying to replace the rear main two piece seal.i am having issues removing the oil pump pick up. is there anyway around it?

Are you looking for more clearance to remove the pan? If so loosen the motor mounts and jack up the motor.

thanks i got the oil puckup tube out finally then jacked it out of mounts.Just to discover that i do not have the original engine.It appears i have a newer 302 in it with a one piece rear main seal.So i will slide tranny and transfer back i guese. Can not wait to get this thing in the GA mud.

351's had 1 piece, 302's are 2 piece

351's had a 2 piece thru 7/10/83.
