Power Steering Problems

I replaced the input seal on the steering gear box on a 76 F-250 2wd. I put it back together know I only have power steering when I turn right when I turn back to the left their isn't any power steering at all. After turning it all the way to the left the pump doesn't even feel like its loading, If I turn it all the way to the right it sqweels and put a load on the motor. Any help would be great.
Thanks JR

Sounds like maybe when you pulled the box, you didn't mark the positions of the shaft and the pitman arm, and they are now out of alignment...

Just maybe!

I did mark the positions of the steering shaft to the coupler and coupler to the steering box I didn't take off the pitman arm so it was in the same place. I did replace the 4 teflon seals so I'm thinking I my have gotten one in the wrong slot.
Thanks JR
