93 Ranger-Squishy feeling brake problem
hey..its a 93 ranger 2.3 and just lately there was an ice storm andmy abs light came on..but a day later and an hour drive the light went off and hasn't came back on..but i just started to notice that my brakes are feelin squishy when i depress them..if u keep pushin they will hit the floor..but they come back up. I got both front and rear brakes replaced last year, and brake lines..i check the fluild levels and eveything is checkin out so far..does anyone have or know what the problem is with the brake system

check your rubber flex hoses, they tend to crack and bleed fluid,this lets air into the systeme and decreses your pressure. My 93 3.0 4x4 had the same problem the abs light often comes on and off for no apparent reason. You will also want to check that the system is bleed completely. If all else fails it could be the master cylinder.
