The horn in my 1990 Ford F150 doesn't work. The cigar lighter doesn't work either, so I was hoping that just the fuse was blown (the horn and cigar lighter are on the same fuse), but the fuse was good. I tried checking the relay, but, I couldn't seem to find it. According to All Data, it should be located under the dash, to the right of the steering column. But, I couldn't seem to find it. So, I decided to check the horn itself. Then, I couldn't it either! All Data didn't provide a location for it, so I wasn't able to look up it's location. I looked behind the grill and in the headlight areas, along the inside fenders, all over the place, and couldn't seem to locate it. Can anyone tell me where the dang horn is? Can anyone provide a picture of it's location, and a picture of the relay location? Is it possible that it doesn't have a horn? I don't smoke, so I'm not too concerned about the cigar lighter, but the horn is a safety device so I'd like to have it. Thanks for any help.
I think I've located it. I was only able to feel it, and it felt like a horn. I found it under and behind the driver side headlight. Unfortunately it appears that I'll have to remove the headlight to access it. It's too dark and too cold to do that now, so I'll do it tomorrow. Thanks again for the help.
