when i close my driver side door,, no remote, the post sticks and does not close the whole way. sometimes, when i key in, the key sticks. whats up with that?
I'd try getting some WD-40 for the key problem, just shoot it in the lock mechanism and then lock and unlock a few times.
For the door shutting problem if I'm reading you right it's the door not shutting all the way sometimes? You may have to replace the door mechanism for this, but first try loosening the striker on the doorjam a little, then shutting the door, then opening it back up again very carefully. If the striker doesn't move when you open the door back up, then you can tighten the striker back down and you should be all set.
Also check your gaps around the door to make sure it's mounted ok. If it just started happening and you haven't messed with it then do the above. If for some reason you ahd the doors messed with then you may need to reset their mounting location.
ah,, ur right,, i tribute the sticking to my door crack... right off the post. even the bottom of my door is rusted.. and the other door with no crack is not.. i got hit by the ever present "door crack"
yep, I gto some interior rust in my truck and beater car from bad window sealing. Weatherstripping is causing a leak in my beater as well. Stupid weather stripping.
