Boiling in cat?

Boiling in cat?
I have noticed what I think is a boiling sound in the cat. I also noticed when I drive good distances i will see a litle smoke and it will go away. anyone heard of this boiling in the cats ? water fuild stays the same, but I think I am losing oil somewhere.

depends on what you do with the truck... if you exposed it to extreme temperature differences very quicky, you inherantly ruin a cat (4-wheeling in and out of water) if your truck has a miss or has been running poorly for some time you will get a build up inside the cat causing higher than normal temps and possibly the noise you are talking about... mine sizzles after its been hot but nothing out of the ordinary is happening otherwise...
