i just realized this, but the truck in the background, (red one) is the donor of my stock grille. the red truck had an argent (gray) grille that had to go, and since it was the only superduty in the fleet with an argent grille, it got it. changing out the grille is a piece of cake.

man, it is TOO easy. just need a phillips and slotted screwdriver. pop the hood, remove 4 small screws on the top, tilt the grille forward some, and then use the slotted screwdriver to pull up on the four tabs on the bottom. to install, just transfer the clips over onto the new grille, push the bottom in place until all 4 click, and then put the 4 screws back in. probably the easiest mod on my truck.

Try this sight out,
http://www.j-jent.com/ . I think they have some of the best looking stuff around, very nice running boards. But I have also found their stuff cheaper from dealers rather than them direct.

Just curious, what is the piece of equipement mounted on the front of the dump truck?
Your grill looks great, in fact the whole truck does. I like the way that the guage pods can be seen from the outside. It says, "serious truck owner" to me.

How much do the gauge pods block your vision?

Just slightly more than not having them there. You have to watch for pedestrians a little more carefully when turning left after the light turns green. Other than that, no difference.

I am doing a ground up on a rare 1979 F350 4x4 supercab with dana 60's front and rear and wonder if any body can tell me where I can get a fine tube billet grille either off the shelf or custom made. ebay only seem to have the thick square or round ones by stull which are not the ones I want. Thanks
