Replacing U-Joints

my 90' f250 (460) needs the U-joint's repalced. How much will it cost for all of them and how do you put them on?

need to know, 2wd or 4 x 4 to better help. 4 x 4 units have the centre and front driveshafts to replace u joints in as well.

All the u-joints for the 90 F250 are between $10-$15 each. If you have a 2wd you have two, if you have a 4wd, you have four.

The u-bolt kits are about $2-3 each, if you can't recycle what's there (these hold the u-joints onto the tranny, driveshaft, and differentials). Same as above, 2 for a 2wd, 4 for a 4wd.

Installing them is technically easy, but aggrevating because often the u-bolts are rusty and the nuts snap off. Also, you're lying on your back reaching over your head which if you're out of shape like me gets tiring. But it's not difficult work at all. A ratchet set and some smallish box wrenches is all you need.
