78 Crewcab
I just purchased a 78 f-250 crewcab, 2wd, I noticed that the wheels sit in closer together than my 77 f-250 regular cab, are the axles narrower, also the frame looks different, the front bumper mounts are not part of the frame, they are bolted on, did ford use a different frame on the crewcabs? are there any other differences?

I recently had to replace the rearend in a 77 f250 crewcab that I purchased in January. I found that the frames on the crew cabs are narrower than the regular truck by about 4 inches if I remember correctly. I had to get a rearend out of a 69 f250 because a 77f250 non crewcab was too wide.
