Night Owls

so here i sit. 2:12 AM Central time. i just spent most of the night emailing my friends who are away in the service, ie; Army and Navy, I went through all my cd's i keep in my truck ( over 30+ ) and took all the multiple CDs by the same badns and put them on single CD's to make room for new CD's. Now as im typing this, the movie "A Thing Red Line" came on.

I seem to find any excuse not to go to sleep. Sure, i may not have anywhere to be until 5PM tommorrow, er, i mean... this evening. My team has 3 guys all fighting in the cage at the "Myth Nightclub" in maplewood MN, and im going there to help a fighter warm up and prepair. But yet i hate myself for always staying up so late. Ive been like this for years.

So what am i getting at here? Probably nothing. But, ill throw a question in just for the heck of it.

How many of you long time "Night Owls" finally broke that habit of doing all of the above.... AND GOT SET ON A "NORMAL" PERSONS SLEEP SCHEDUAL??

gonna go fill the dog's food bowl and fill my own food bowl.

BTF250 out

I go back and forth all the time depending on what I am doing or what I have to do. I prefer to be up or work nights.

Work does it for me too but as soon as I don't have to work the next day, I have no problem staying up til 04:00 or later. Then it's a pain trying to get to sleep sometimes when work is coming the next morning. I've always been a night owl... I started sneaking out of bed to watch the Tonight Show when I was 7.

Same here. I can stay up until the wee hours of the morning, if I didn't have to go to work. When I was doing seamstress work at home for extra income, from 8pm to 3am was the best time for me.

I usually go to bed between 2-3, whether I work the next day or not. If I have to work, I get up at 6:30. If I'm off, I get up at 7 to help the kids get ready for school.

My daughter has had sleep issues. Google for "Sleep Hygiene" for lots of advice, this is usually a very fixable problem - if you want to fix it. You just need to know the tricks.

I'm a full fledged Vampire, I work nights, go to sleep when the sun comes up, and with the short days up here, I wake when the sun goes down. Usually keep close to the same schedule during the weekends. I will try and make a day appearance during Saturday.

I try to be on a normal sleep clock when my schedule allows. Here lately, I have hardly been sleeping but work seems to be lettin up in the last few days so I have been able to sleep at night, but I know thats not for long.

Yeah I always stay up late ( or try anyways ) but then get yelled at by my parents. I have to get up at 6 for school but I get out at 2. Luckily we have early dismissal for midterms this week. Boo-ya. Who needs to sleep for midterms? I mean really, crazy parents.

By the way if my posts have capitals all over the place and uncapitalized letters it because my shift key is broken after it fell on the ground after me breaking my desk which caused the keyboard tray to fall and then land on my arthritic foot. Wow I have bad luck...

We are creatures of the Night who curse the stores that are not open when we need them. Coffee is our blood and we worship the Goddess "Caffinea" who bestows this gift to her "servants".

My husband is a nightowl working in the shop until the 'wee hours"...especially during the Summer months. Long ago, I adopted his hours. So our "days" dont start until after 12 noon as it is. But I do break this habit occasionally by going to bed early if I have to....like when we have to go to an event to make sure we get up in time. As he is partially deaf from years of hammering at the anvil, I am his alarum clock.
