Question

Door Ajar Light

99 4x4 Scab 3.0 5spd
My door ajar light stays on alot not always but most of time, also
interior light doesn't always turn off after shutting door, also when
I try to sit in my rig and just listen to the radio the damn dinger alarm will never stop. Got any ideas on what to do about any of these problems?,
are they all related? Thanks for the help.

spray wd40 on the door latch assembly works like a charm after a few open and closes... its what fixed my rangers door ajar and a buddys f150

If that doesn't work then replace the door switch. I've put 3 in my 2000 Ranger, but that was before I knew about the WD40 trick.

Told ya works like a charm lol the problem is all the grime that builds up on the latch and the grease in there just collects dirt
