Cab mounting problem

I have replaced the front floor pans on a 55 f100. I am also replacing the cab body mount brackets and the upper cap and plate, all of which are fastened to the floor. The replacement pans did not have the hole for the cab mount. My question is, are there measurements to insure that I get the cab back in the correct location? My plan was to set the cab back on the frame, connect the rear cab mounts, and drill up through the front frame mount holes, line everything up and weld it in. However, even with the rear cab mounts connected there is a considerable amount of movement.

Side-to-side should be easy. Just center the mounting holes in the cab floor. Front-to-back is a bit harder. I took these measurements from one of Kevin Kessler's 1953 cabs. I don't know for absolutely sure if they are exactly the same as a 55, but I'm pretty sure the 53-55 cabs are identical.

Front Cab Width Between Mounting Bolts = 55-1/8”
Cab Rear Floor Ridge to Front Mounting Bolt = 35”

Here is a picture showing the front-to-back measurement.
