Deeper tone
I am wanting a deeper tone on my Supercab F150. I am going to go with Dynomax Super Turbos as close to the exhaust manifolds as I can get it. Are there any tricks that can be done to make it really deep but not overly loud? Can changing the pipe size around make that happen? I also plan to use a 18" or 24" long tip with a 4" diameter outlet.

Putting superturbos on it with the manifolds will probly be fairly quiet. I did a 400 with glasspacks and its not really even that loud. Run 2.25" pipe and your 4" x24" tips, that should about do the job. Going with Cherrybomb Turbos should give you alot better tone(bit more agressive with less drone) and are usually alot cheaper. I priced both Dynomax and the CB turbos and the Dynomax cost $89 while the CB Turbo cost $39.
