F250 hub question
I have a 73-77.5 Hi-boy that has a 78 body and bed on it. The problem I'm having is that I don't know exactly what year the chassis is because I can't find the VIN anywhere on the frame. I currently need a front hub assembly/housing replaced as the stock one got trashed when I broke two wheel studs off. What years would be interchangeable? My hub assembly looks like a six-sided star. It's not prefectly round like a lot of the ones I've found at the bone yard. It came off of a 8-lug Dana 44HD. Any thoughts? I'm finding out that these things are quite rare. Thanks.
