Has any one with the Premium soundsystem replaced decks. How do you wire it to us factory inline amp? Is the amp worth keeping in the loop. Sounded preaty good before, but needed cd. Thanks for help

86 Bronco II EB. I also found out that they were used in thunderbirds and other fords just incase any one has dealt with the premium soundsystem inline amp.

Years ago I dealt with this and if my memory serves me right all I needed was a radio shack type wiring adapter for the head unit. I was replacing the raio with an aftermarket unit.

I tried the wiring adapter at walmart ( same as local stero locations). the power harness worked fine, but it was the speaker set that was wrong. When plugged in only the front worked, but that was even screwed up. I was going to just hardwire in, but one speaker negative wire wasnt in the original harness. was suggested that two speakers used a common negative. dont know. I ran all new speaker line, but i would like to be able to use the amp in the bronco.
