speedometer problem

speedometer problem
Im sure this is an easy one but I have never thought to ask it. Why does the needle on my speedo bounce at 30mph and below? Anything above that and it does fine? Is there a cure for this not so bothersome problem?

Hi
You probably need to either lub the cable or just replace it. Remember to lube the new cable before installing it. There are special lubes for cables that work really good. Hope this helps.

speedometer problem
use graphite powder on the back where cable hooks to meter. Tap the gauge to let some fall into the inner gears. Works for me
